Bloom Our Youth seeking a part-time Special Events Coordinator who will help grow the organization's outreach through the execution of well-organized special event fundraisers in order to meet annual fundraising goals. Must be exceptionally organized with ability to work with a variety of individuals from corporate CEO's to Bloom volunteers and board members. Primary Responsibilities: Over see 2 major Special Event Fundraisers per year. Bloom Ball in March/April, and Frocks & Rocks Fashion show in August. The Coordinator will manage all aspects of the events including but not limited to recruiting corporate sponsors, event ticket sales, silent/live auctions, catering, vendors and speakers. Able to sell big ticket sponsorships, coordinate and communicate with donors, sponsors, volunteers. Requirements: 3-years of event coordinator experience, B.S. in Hospitality, Event Management or related fields, reliable transportation. Salary $18 to $22 /hour.
